What a beautiful sunrise trek! The guides were very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed at all times. They adapted their pace based on our speed and what made us comfortable. On the way back, our driver overheard that it was our friends birthday so he stopped by and got her a cake! We loved it and highly recommend it.

  3. :

The tour on the volcano was very nice. Even though ther was a lot of fog on the top, so we were not able to se neighter the crater nor the sunrise, the trip was very good and i can totaly recommend it. The tourguide was realy nice and helpfuly. Also the driver who picks you up at the hotel was a realy nice person.

  4. :

Definitely something you must do when you’re in Bali. Not a difficult hike to see an amazing sunrise. Our tour guide Kacong was amazing the whole hike.

  5. :

Both the driver (Kadek) & the guide (Made) are amazing. The hike isn’t easy and it should be mentioned clearly. The views aren’t always spectacular if it’s cloudy. It’s quite busy there too!

  6. :

Our driver Kadek was extremely nice and flexible. He picked us up from Kuta and drove us to the trekking point at base of mountain. Then our personal guide Made took us to the peak. Once we returned Kadek was also nice enough to drive us further than agreed where we saw some more checkpoints based on our personal itinerary along the way. All in all great experience. Kadek was awesome

We had a great time hiking Mt Batur! The hike was moderate — the first half is easy, but there are some steep parts on the second half. Our guide, arya, was wonderful. We hiked at a pretty brisk pace and made it to the top at 5:10 after leaving the parking area around 3:45. The sun rise wasn’t until 6:20, so we sat at the top for awhile. It was really cold at the top, and despite wearing long sleeves and jackets, we wished we had brought more clothes. All in all, would highly recommend this guided hike of Mt Batur!

  8. :

This is a must experience for nature lovers. I found the trek to be quite difficult and at one point I really considered riding on the dirt bike uphill. But I’m so glad that I didn’t. The whole hike was super worth it at the end. Our host was very helpful, considerate, friendly and polite. He was quite funny too haha. Would definitely recommend doing this in a group

  9. :

Once in a lifetime experience going up the mount Batur at night. The view from up there is amazing and we were lucky to have a clear sky as well. The coffee plantation afterwards was above and beyond my expectations and we were happy to buy some products

  10. :

What an amazing hike up Mt Batur. Our guide Made was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Arry was very knowledgeable about the areas history. The hike was great but a good level of fitness is helpful. We were cooked boiled eggs and sandwich with hot chocolate and biscuit at top. Warm jacket is definitely needed at top. Sunrise was spectacular. So glad we did this, great memories and great company.

  11. :

I absolutely loved the trekking! Though me and my friend couldn’t go up the top of the mountain due to our fitness level, our very kind and sweet tour guide, Made , accompanied us to mid way to catch the beautiful sunrise. Made was so sweet as we was constantly checking if we were feeling well or if we needed break. Her encouragement along the way really helped me and my friend to trek up, and she takes the most beautiful photos for us! Haha. We even shared chips and chocolate crossiants rolls whilst watching the sunrise. We really enjoyed the trek together 🙂 What an incredible experience.

  12. :

We only stayed 4 days in Bali and had booked ourselves to this trekking trip and it’s an awesome journey, start from when our local guide, Made picked us up from our hotel at 1.30am and returned to our hotel by 10.30am.

Climbed up and witnessed the sunrise from the top of Mt.Batur is a spectacular way to appreciate the beauty surrounding Bali’s mountainscapes.. It’s a breathtaking views while we sat munching our healthy breakfast (warm boiled eggs, sandwiches and some fruits) prepared by Ketut.

Thank you so much Made for your kind and patience, especially supporting my sister Ceacilia when the trek became harder for her.

    All the best to you.

  13. :

My friend and I were very happy and satisfied not just because of the view in Mt. Batur but also for the accommodation giving to us by the team. From the driver (Kadek) who picked us up from our hotel, to the tour guide (Made) who’ve been so friendly and who assisted us well during our climb, who even prepared our breakfast at the summit. And most specially to Kadek himself who I coordinated with and organized our climb to Mt. Batur while we we’re still in our country until we went to Bali. Thank you guys and Bali Bagus Trekking for the experience that we will never forget. Keep it up. Salute!

  14. :

All mountains have different beauties, and watching the sun rise at Mt. Batur is definitely a great experience. It was a challenging climb up high and the view on top will take your breath away. Many thanks to the group of Made, to our driver Kadek who is very friendly and most of all to our guide Made who was very patient with our eagerness to take pictures. Thank you so much guys and we are looking forward to our next climb 😊. Cheers.

  15. :

Made was an excellent guide allowing us to set the pace and take regular breaks. He was kind, reassuring and friendly. He saved us a quiet, private spot away from the crowds to watch the sunrise. The driver Kadek was also really friendly and went out of his way to take us to other places that were not on the itinerary but were on the way home. Fantastic experience!

  16. :

Be ready to wake up early, walk in the dark and be cold.
But this is nothing compare to the butifull experience you will live ! We was guiding by “Made” a super good local guide, he teached us many things during the climbing, about thé local people, the volcano and the animals living there.
When the sun finaly rise, you forget all your pain and you keep smiling for hours, just do it !
(With Made, he is the best guide ever )

  17. :

A great hike up Mt Batur. Our guide Made was awesome, very friendly and helpful. He had a good knowledge about Bali.

  18. :

We had an absolutely amazing time. The view was stunning and definitely worth waking up early for. Our driver picked us up on time and overall communicated very well before the trip as well. We walked up with our guide Made who is the most genuine and nice person. He prepared some snacks for us at the top and told us a lot about the region. The trek is not very difficult and you can walk slowly so most people should be able to make it to the top with no issues. The whole experience was awesome and you should not miss it. Thanks to the whole Bali Bagus Trekking crew for a perfect organization of the tour. We will surely be back!

  19. :

We booked the Bali Sunrise Trekking Center for our morning trip to Mt. Batur. Despite we had a very bad weather so we were barely able to see any sunrise, our guide Made was really nice. He took care of us, helped us and gave us a lot of interesting information. Thanks to him we had a really nice trip. It is definitely a lifelong experience. Thanks a lot!

  20. :

At 4 o’clock in the morning we started our walk with 3 very motivated guides. I think they helped me and my group mates trough the hard walk up the mount batur. It is an experience to make for sure and with the great group guides, you’ll find, you will enjoy it lots more. They all have a positivity and kindness that makes it 100% easier. At the top of the mountain you’ll find one of the best sunrise views you can watch. I just wanna say.. do it!

  21. :

the tour guide was really friendly and extremely helpful when we were struggling during the hike. he definitely made the hike less dreadful and so much more enjoyable, will definitely look for this company again when i’m back!

  22. :

Really enjoyed the mt batur hiking with Kadek and his team! They were helpful with our group and assisted during our venture up and down the mountain! They even went ahead to bring us to see various parts of the mountain. Had a great time with this tour!

  23. :

My group of friends and I climbed Mt Batur in January 2019 and it was a great experience. The guides Made and Arya were very nice and pleasant and they even held our hands when we walked up and down the mountain. They also helped us to take many cool photos at the top and really made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Before going on the trip I had many questions and messaged Made who answered all of them promptly and willingly.

All in all, a great experience, would definitely recommend 🙂

  24. :

The sunrise hike was one of the best things my friends and I did in Bali! We were picked up from our villa and dropped off at the start of the hike. Our guide Kacong was fantastic! He took us up the mountain at our own pace while also ensuring we would make it to the top in time for the sunrise. At the top, he provided blankets, breakfast, and found us a bench shielded from the wind. After the hike, we went to a Bali Sing and were dropped back off at our villa. Highly recommend the hike and specifically Kacong!

  25. :

This trekking was amazing, woke up early but it was worth it. The climb was not that hard for me but I guess some people will have less or more difficult. On the top the view was breathtaking, the breakfast was good, a lot of monkeys on top so be careful. Then I went to the plantation coffee and Bali Swing. The driver was Rah Chepot it he was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this tour for anybody whos looking for the ultimate experience. Thank you

  26. :

This was a brilliant experience- so stunning and well planned. It was harder than I thought but completely worth it – the sunrise was incredible and being at the top you get to see monkeys, hold your hand over hot air from Batur and you get a hard-boiled egg! We booked a private tour and on the way back got to go on some amazing swings. A must on a trip to Bali.

  27. :

Well worth the early rise! Unreal views and guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. The stop on Bali Swing also was a package

  28. :

e had an all-around fantastic tour, expertly given by Kacong. The views at the top are incredible, making the climb up 100% worth it. The coffee plantation at the end was also fantastic. 10/10.

  29. :

We booked the tour which included the hike at Mt Batur to catch the sunrise, Bali swing and coffee plantation tour. The tour was well-organised and our driver, Kadek, is very friendly and punctual with the pick up. It was an overall great experience and I would recommend this tour to my friends who are visiting Bali and want to try the hike at Mt Batur.

  30. :

Highly recommend the Mt Batur hike with this bunch especially Kacong. Such a joy to trek up with his crazy sense of humor and energy!!! Wakes me up on a sleepy 3 am morning. Also, recommend the coffee plantation and Bali Swing visit which comes after the hike.

  31. :

Our driver arrived right on time and was very accommodating as we were picked up in Ubud and then dropped off at Legian. The climb was amazing and the view spectacular. We also stopped at Bali Swing.
The drivers were very friendly and catered to our needs. I would recommend this trip to others

  32. :

I’m not going to lie it was tough at moments, hiking in the dark but kadek, our guide, stopped often and encouraged us beautifully. Kadek had a great sense of humor and kept our spirits high. The sunrise is great but the walk around the crater was our favourite part of the tour which only few people did it. We then went to the Bali Swing & coffee plantation after our descent which was great for testing some nice coffee and teas
